Bayshore Christian School congratulates Ace Hensley on making school history by becoming the first All-American in the BCS wrestling program.
After training with wrestling clubs across Tennessee, Indiana, and Illinois, Ace earned All-American honors at the Midwest Nationals in Bloomington, Illinois, while competing against some of the nation’s top high school wrestlers.
We are proud of Ace’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, and we look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the future.

Bayshore Christian School congratulates Jayden Thomas on attending Auburn University’s Youth Programs Veterinary Camp. During the week-long program, Jayden gained hands-on experience in veterinary medicine while working alongside Auburn professors, veterinary students, and instructors. He developed a variety of clinical skills while caring for both large and small animals.
The experience provided valuable insight into the veterinary profession and strengthened Jayden’s interest in pursuing a future in animal care. We are proud of Jayden’s initiative and congratulate him on this outstanding opportunity!

The Nature Connect staff underwent several days of camp training, covering curriculum development, behavior support, emergency procedures, first aid and CPR, site hazard identification, and outdoor skills. They reviewed safety protocols, participated in scenario-based roleplay, and practiced teamwork. Beyond technical training, staff engaged in nature exploration, team-building games, and storytelling to strengthen their connection to the outdoors. We are grateful to our educators, counselors, and assistants for ensuring a safe, enjoyable summer focused on a meaningful camp season. We hope to see you this summer!

Congratulations to Bayshore Christian School seniors Blake Strickland and Libby Mayo on successfully completing the 2026 NextGen Docs Summer Program at Thomas Hospital. Through this unique experience, they gained valuable insight into the healthcare field while exploring careers in medicine and serving alongside healthcare professionals.
We are proud of Blake and Libby for embracing this opportunity and for continuing to pursue excellence, leadership, and meaningful service in our community.

Bayshore Christian School congratulates Isabelle Barr on representing our school at Alabama Governor’s School at Samford University.
Selected for this prestigious academic enrichment program, Isabelle explored health sciences and magazine publishing through college-level seminars, labs, research, and hands-on learning alongside outstanding students from across Alabama.
We are proud of Isabelle’s achievement and the way she continues to exemplify the pursuit of academic excellence.

BCS 1st graders enjoyed learning all about England at their British “Tea Party” last month!

BCS 6th graders had a blast with their Egg Drop experiment last month! It was so much fun seeing all their creativity come to life.

Baldwin County High School held a ceremony to welcome its 41 newest members into the National Honor Society. As each new member was inducted, they signed the official membership book. The ceremony concluded with the lighting of the candles from current to new members as it made it all around the full circle. The four pillars of the academic honor society are to foster scholarship, service, leadership and character.
New members include senior Kellen Lincoln; juniors Marissa Greco and Cassidy Mason; and sophomores Elijah Aaron, Hope Bates, Gabrielle Bidwell, Brady Bryars, Rebecca Bryars, Madilyn Byrd, Chloe Burford, Samantha Chancey, Taylor Conway, Madison Davis, James Drinkard, Lily Drinkard, Jackson Duncan, Anthony Evans, Olivia Ferguson, Gilberto Fiqueroa, Luke Garrett, Kennedi Grace, Jada Gray, Hollee Harville, Jae Heaton, Taylor Johnson, Cale Jones, Lindsey Ledford, Andi McKissack, Samantha McMahill, Abbigail Paul, Nathan Reid, Zachary Morris, JaCaleb Rivers, John Roberts, Taylor Robertson, Alanna Sanders, Addison Scarborough, Allison Siggers, Emma Simpson, Shelby Stewart and Ally Stuart.
NHS officers include Langston Lewis, president; John David Weatherford, vice president; Jaelyn Gray, secretary; Josie Williams, treasurer; Briana Broadus, historian; Luke Aplin, sargeant-at-arms; Kelsey Burford and Taylor Mitchem, event coordinators.
The faculty advisors for NHS include Kassandra Robbins, Donna Johnson, Judy Bridges, Tabetha Davis, Norleisha Lewis, Claire Celaya, Amy Boylan, Claire Turner, Alex Homan and David Garrett.

Technology Student Association from Bay Minette Middle School earned three top spots at the TSA competition at Coastal Alabama Community College. Catherine White and Evan Peppers won first place in Vex Robotics. The team of Pierce Coleman, Khloe Little, Ciara Comalander and Peyton Mendez came in third place in VEX Robotics. The team of Cooper Walker, Rylie Echele, and Nyvaeh Adams won second place in Technology Bowl. TSA sponsor Dana Markulj congratulated her students for their hard work and dedication in preparing for the annual contest. Qualifying teams now advance to the state-wide TSA competition.
More than 100 middle and high school students from Bay Minette, Elberta, Foley, Robertsdale, Foley, Fairhope and Spanish Fort feeder patterns participated in various events such as VEX robotics, dragster, problem-solving, structural design, podcasting, CAD, flight, video game design and much more.
The Technology Student Association (TSA) enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Members apply and integrate these concepts through intra-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs.

North Baldwin Center for Technology students earned seven medals from at the District SkillsUSA competition, including two for first place. Earning first place medals included Alfonso Griffin- Related Technical Math (Building Construction) and Joshua Taylor- Welding Beginner (Welding). Receiving medals for second place included Zach Coleman- Extemporaneous Speaking (Auto); Devin McLeod- Customer Service (Auto); and Aiden Wood -Action Skills (Building Construction). Third place medal winners included KC Betts and Joshua Graham – Chapter Display Group (Building Construction) and Trey Pollard- Automotive Service Technology (Auto). The students are now gearing up for the state SkillsUSA competition.

The North Baldwin Coalition for Excellence in Education recognized the exceptional educators who were selected as the Teacher of the Year at their respective schools. The 2023 Teacher of the Year honorees include Baldwin County High: Kayland Lamar; Bay Minette Elementary: Ben Walker; Bay Minette Middle: Jennifer Jones; Delta Elementary: Darlene Gore; North Baldwin Center for Technology: Anthony Schuler; Perdido Middle: Eugenia Robinson; Perdido Elementary: Holly Whidbee; Pine Grove Elementary: Jessica Sprouse; and Stapleton Elementary: Sarah McKeough. Each honoree was presented a tote filled with gifts provided by NBCEE as well as area businesses and individuals.
Members of the NBCEE Board of Directors includes Tiz Day, Robin Cook, Kelli Wallace, and Colleen Beason. In addition to the Teacher of the Year recognition, NBCEE awards Teacher Grants to educators serving schools in the BCHS feeder pattern. St. James Episcopal School students had a blast with Dr. Seuss week!

Finley McKay will represent Belforest Elementary School at this year’s National Youth Leadership Forum in a week long camp at Oglethorpe University in Georgia. Finley was nominated and accepted into the NYLF: Pathways to STEM because of her scholastic merit, leadership potential and exceptional maturity. NYLF Pathways to STEM is dedicated to the early identification, motivation, and inspiration of the nations most promising elementary school students. Finley will have the opportunity to explore a future career in three exciting STEM pathways: medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation.

On March 6, Bayside Academy inducted 35 students into the Patsy T. Phillips chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). The Patsy T. Phillips chapter of the NHS is an organization whose objectives are to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students of Bayside Academy. Once inducted, members of NHS are expected to continue developing the qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
