Intro to Coding Basics – Computer Lab (Grades 2-3)

This class is an introduction to the concepts of computer science including basic terminology and a little bit of computer science history as we introduce Grace Hopper. This class fulfills the requirements for the Girl Scout Coding for Good: Coding Basics badge for Brownies, but is open to all 2nd and 3rd graders. Scouts in uniform will receive a free FHPL Coding fun patch (you are responsible for your scout’s official badge). All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
