This class is an introduction to the concepts of computer science including basic terminology and a little bit of computer science history as we introduce Katherine Johnson. This class fulfills the requirements for the Girl Scout Coding for Good: Coding Basics badge for Girl Scout Cadettes, but is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Scouts in uniform will receive a free FHPL Coding fun patch (you are responsible for your scout’s official badge). All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
