FLY, A Musical Review

Shining Talent, Recreation and Education is producing, in conjunction with the Nubian Theatre Company, present a musical program “FLY, THE MUSIC REVUE”. This production, with a rotating cast of 12, will showcase some of the original songs to be featured in the 2024 production of “FLY, THE MUSICAL”. The full production is inspired by the folklore of Virginia Hamilton and Zora Neale Hurston and reimagines the tale of a magical African people who escape the trials and tribulations of their lives through their ability to fly. The genre’s of ragtime, gospel, R&B, jazz, country and western, hard rock and classical are all featured in this story of magic, flight, perseverance and hope.
